Busy bee............

I have been a busy bee formulating mineral eyeshadows, and getting close (but not quite there) to having a product I love and will be proud to share. I've been busy checking resources for formulations, and the pickins are quite slim, I must say. But, I will continue on my quest! Sorry my blog has been neglected, I shall try to update more.

I'm making eyeshadow!!!!!!!

I've been toying with the idea for a while to make my own cosmetics. I looked into using a private label cosmetic company's products, but they were sub-par, and I really like the idea of creating something from scratch. It's difficult, and I have to learn a little chemistry, but I am determined to make some gorgeous stuff. I need your help, however. This is the first blue eyeshadow I've come up with. Yes, I know it's bright, but it can always be toned down. It's extremely pigmented and it has a nice creamy texture. It's a loose mineral powder, and the ingredients are all-natural. My question is, what would you name this pretty blue shade? Suggestions?

It's awesome. It's written by this girl who has cerebral palsey (I probably just butchered the spelling on that), and she writes about her everyday experiences and how people treat her. She's very funny and sweet, and has taught me a lot. My only complaint is that she doesn't post nearly enough. Check it out to laugh and be inspired.

My makeup was a hot mess by the end of the day - we went to a festival and it was really hot (I got sunburned), and my makeup melted, but it was worth it, I had a lot of fun!
